A Statement Of Intent - LUX is a long established building contractor in Lower Austria and challenged us to transform the tired and out-dated office head quarters. The dynamic extension project provides a link between old and new. A glazed, well lit, enclosed passage slopes between the owner’s private residence and the renovated structure. A holistic use of bare concrete, timber and glass present the building contractors love for detail and material in a unique manner. Despite the modern edge of design the renovation nestles comfortably into its surroundings and supplementing to the charm of the small town.
