Peace, beauty and tranquility. The panorama surrounding the Gösta-Museum in Finland is the inspiration for this project. The vastness of the landscape insulates and protects small communities while the existing planning advocates small clusters of dwelling rather than solitary buildings. In comparison to the extensiveness of the lakes and forests, the community is insulated and protected. Precisely this idea – a spatial planning and reference system and the ability to move freely form the core of our design. The solution: A cluster of buildings, each with individual functions, distinctive viewing points and individuality, brought seamlessly together with the universal flooring. The materials and finishes to both the interior and exterior are an integral theme for this international project.
