Kirche in Oberrohrbach

The spiritual heart of a small community was the concept behind the planned Cathedral in Oberrohrbach. The sublime exterior insulates the place of worship encouraging concentration and providing an inner sanctum of peace and comfort were the foundations of our design. A narrow ring of glazed openings, positioned between roof and wall, encircles the sanctuary and elliptical form of the cathedral. Natural light illuminates the organic form giving centre stage to the altar and ambo.
